On 13th February 2009 it was the best day i ever had ! It was the school's annual cross country cum total defence day. Last year cross-country was quite boring. This year cross country was very memorable experience. It was held in Nanyang Polytechnic. Before our run, Red-cross members, National Cadet cops and National Police Cadet Cops showed us of how to defend ourselve when we are in a dangerous sitiuation. We had no school on that day. At 2pm we have to assemble in Nanyang Polytechnic.
After the total defence talk, we had our RUN ! The gals have to run 2.4 km and as for the boys they had to run 3.6km. It is a very tiring. But somehow i did finish it. The greatest thing in this Cross-country is that we were given FREE MILO ! Well, milo is my favourite drink. When everyone had completed the race, there was a prize giving presentation for those who particapated as a competitor.
It was so enjoyable that i didn't even realise that it was almost late afternoon. Soon, when all is over we were dismissed. I happily went back home with my friends. (:
